#R1# Rafael defending well as Breck loads up on a big left hand. Rafael goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Breck jabbing away but nothing is landing. A jab from Breck misses. #TD# Rafael shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Breck manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Rafael advances to half guard. Rafael definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Rafael looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice strikes from Rafael there. #T1# Breck is in trouble now - Rafael has advanced to mount! Rafael content just to control the position here. #SU# Rafael is standing up, even though he is in mount. #CL# Rafael darts in and clinches Breck up against the cage.#T2##TD# Rafael has hold of one of Breck's legs. Breck is fighting the takedown attempt but Rafael gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Rafael controls from within his opponent's guard. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Breck has eaten all the pies! Rafael works a leg free and moves into half guard. #SUB# Rafael is looking for a kimura here.
Rafael is taking a breather. Breck says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.#T3##SUB# Rafael is looking for a kimura here.
Breck is in trouble now - Rafael has advanced to mount! Rafael controlling his opponent. #SU# Rafael stands up from mount. Strange move. #T4##CL# Rafael closes the distance and clinches.#BC# Rafael escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Breck fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rafael manages to avoid it. Breck takes a swing at Rafael's ribcage but misses. #CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. Rafael jumps guard but Breck stands there with Rafael around his waist. Rafael gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#TD# Breck is fighting off a takedown attempt but Rafael is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Breck to the mat. Breck regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. James Rafael overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.#T1# Rafael passes into half guard. Rafael is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Breck can do to turn this around?#SUB# Rafael is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Breck is just riding it out for now. Rafael eventually gives up the hold. Breck really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rafael. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rafael scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Rafael has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#T2# Rafael passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Rafael working away from the top, dropping strikes.#SUB# Breck has left one of his arms exposed and Rafael doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Breck screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
