Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Kaya was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Kaya walks straight into a right hand from Matthieu - that's dropped him! Matthieu jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kaya from any more punishment! Kaya complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
