and Life counters with a straight right hand. Coffie fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Coffie misses with a body shot
and Life counters with a lovely straight right hand! Life misses with a looping right. Some wild striking there from Coffie.
Coffie steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Life. Coffie waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Life. Coffie dips down and scores with a jab to the body.#CL# Life tries to keep at a distance but Coffie has taken the fight into the clinch. Coffie misses with some punches.
#BC# Coffie breaks from the clinch.
Life throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Life missing with a left hand there. Coffie was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Life keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A little jabbing left from Life on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Life keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Coffie. Coffie throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Life sees it coming and avoids it easily.#T1# Life avoids the body shot from Coffie.
#CL# Coffie closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Coffie leaning his opponent against the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Coffie takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Coffie seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Life swings wildly with an uppercut but Coffie uses good head movement to avoid it. #BC2# Life pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.#CL# Coffie drives through and clinches with Life against the cage.

Coffie slips under a jab. Coffie cracks Life with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.#T3# Coffie swings and misses with a shot to the body and Life counters with a lovely straight right hand!#CUT2# It looks like Sanka Coffie has been cut. Coffie tests Life's chin there with a solid looking shot. Life misses with a right hand and Coffie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Coffie scores with a jab.#ROC# Life is rocked! Life misses with a looping right. Life is still on wobbly legs! Can Coffie finish him? Coffie lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Life might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Coffie cracks Life with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Life tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Coffie pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Life is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sanka Coffie! A very excited looking Sanka Coffie made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. The defeated Trailer Life had this to say: 'Fuck you and your QFC level 1 fighting.'.

#R1##TD2# Weed closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Weed lands in his opponent's guard. Life trying to control the position here. Weed trying to control the position from guard on top but Life is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Weed wants to get up but he can't break Life's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Weed trying to control but Life is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weed trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Life is pulling down on Weed's head. It's preventing any offense from Weed, at least for the moment.#SUB# Life looking for subs off his back but Weed has passed one foot through into half guard.
#T1# Life is controlling Weed's position as best he can from this difficult position. Weed wants to control but Life is keeping him busy. Weed is looking to advance position but Life won't allow it. #T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Life trying to hold on to Weed's head to control him but Weed postures up.
Weed slows the pace down in half guard. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Life connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Weed's hands. Trailer Life is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#TD2# Weed closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Life quickly recovers to half guard. Weed is trying to control the action in half guard but Life is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Life definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Life has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Weed is working away from the top position though. Weed wants to pass to mount but Life is defending the position. #T3# Weed wants to take a breather but Life is having none of it. Life keeping hold of Weed's head, controlling as best he can. Weed works his way into full mount! Weed lands a big elbow. Life wants to hold on but Weed pushes him away. Life is looking to get to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Life holds of for dear life. Weed unloads with some shots from mount but Life bucks and avoids them well.

Weed with the ground and pound from mount. Life tries to hold on but Weed pushes him away. Weed can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Life is looking to escape. Life wants to control but Weed is having none of it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Life looks out of his depth in this position - he's holding on tight. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Richard Weed dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! #R2# Life displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Weed. Life throwing a counter right hand but Weed manages to avoid it. Trailer Life has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Richard Weed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Life uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Weed.
Weed dives in for a single leg takedown but Life sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Weed fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Life avoids it really well and circles away. Trailer Life has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Weed. Life lands with an overhand left. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Weed. Richard Weed is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Weed shoots and misses and Life counters with a huge left! Weed is in big trouble! He's backing up but Life isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Weed from any more damage. A dominating finish by Life!

Banner lands a nice elbow. Banner throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Life blocks it with crossed arms. Life has a couple of punches blocked by Banner.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Banner pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Life avoids the elbow strike from Banner, against the cage.
Banner has Life pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Life is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Banner - that's hurt Life badly! Oh, another knee lands and Life is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Life doesn't seem to be complaining.
