Thomas is trying to maintain a safe position but Seis gets an underhook and turns Thomas into the cage. Seis lands an elbow inside that Thomas shrugs off. #CUT2# It looks like Carl Thomas has been cut. Thomas looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Nice elbow from Seis. Seis throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

#R1# Scott throws a body kick despite being completely out of range#TD2# and Thomas decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Scott's guard.#SUB# Scott looking for a guillotine here but Thomas defends easily.
Scott will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Thomas trying to control the position from guard on top but Scott is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Thomas is stalling in the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott looking to hit a scissor sweep but Thomas is one step ahead there. #T1# Thomas showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Thomas lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Thomas tries to free his leg and advance position but Scott is retaining full guard. #SUB# Thomas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scott has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! Let's see what he's got on the mat. #SUB2# Thomas drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Scott manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Thomas has Scott in his guard.#REVR# Thomas looks winded! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Scott working some strikes from top position. Scott might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Thomas tries to land a sweep but no joy. Scott wants to pass the guard but Thomas is keeping the position.#T3# Scott loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Thomas tries to land a sweep but no joy. Thomas keeping moving, preventing Scott from controlling successfully. Scott lands a couple of elbows. Scott postures up and lands a big shot to Thomas's brow. Thomas has momentary wrist control but Scott slips an elbow through the middle. Scott is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Scott stopping the sweep attempt from Thomas. We've been hearing that Scott has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Scott wants to control from the top but Thomas keeps moving. Thomas is trying to control the position from the bottom.
#T4# Scott is working Thomas over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Scott's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Thomas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Scott. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB2# Thomas is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Scott is aware though and is defending well.#SUB2# Thomas throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Scott escapes and throws Thomas's legs to the side, diving into side control! Thomas controls the position for a moment. That was a close round but I would say that Michael Scott will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Thomas must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#SUB# Scott has his foot on Thomas's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Thomas has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Scott is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Scott is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Thomas.

#R1# Los Eskos moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.#CUT2# It looks like Carl Thomas has been cut.#CL2# Los Eskos closes the distance and pushes Thomas back into the cage. Los Eskos lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Thomas tries to break the clinch but Los Eskos is controlling the position. A short right from Los Eskos on the inside. Thomas's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Thomas is trying to break free. Los Eskos gets through Thomas's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Los Eskos stalling against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Los Eskos. Thomas tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Los Eskos smiles and moves away.
Los Eskos on the wrong end of a nice jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Los Eskos lands a nice shot to the body.
Thomas fails to land the takedown.#CL2# Los Eskos moves into the clinch successfully.

Los Eskos lands with a short shot to the head. Los Eskos scores with a shot to the side of Thomas's head. Los Eskos manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Los Eskos pushes Thomas back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A right handed body shot lands from Los Eskos.

Oh Thomas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! An uppercut to the body lands inside from Los Eskos. Thomas seems to have got his legs back now. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Los Eskos. Los Eskos lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Thomas to his knees! Los Eskos keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
