#R1# Venator swats away the attempt to clinch by Zampidhs. Venator dodges the punch combination from Zampidhs.
Zampidhs shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Venator as he jumps to the side. Venator bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Zampidhs's head.#CL2# Venator has managed to clinch.
Venator stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Zampidhs tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Venator just stands there and leans against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Venator scores with a nice hook to the head. Zampidhs is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Venator is keeping busy. Venator prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Zampidhs. That's going to take a lot out of him. Venator lands a hook that snaps the head of Zampidhs backwards. #T1# A short right hand to the side of the head by Venator. A head punch blocked on the inside by Zampidhs. Zampidhs blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Venator tries a body shot but Zampidhs blocks it.
Zampidhs is trying to break free. Venator lands a left hand that snaps the head of Zampidhs backwards. #ROC2# Zampidhs is rocked! Zampidhs prevents the takedown attempt.
Oh Zampidhs is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Venator lands with a left to the head. Venator pushes Zampidhs against the cage. Venator is working some dirty boxing. Venator pushes off with a quick right hook! Zampidhs goes down! Zampidhs tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Venator moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
