Bender moves in looking to clinch but Bormier pushes him off.

Bormier drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bender defends it well.
Bender changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bormier tries to avoid it but Bender manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bormier to the ground. Bormier escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dillon Bender. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bender pushes off an throws an elbow but Bormier leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Bormier is pushing Bender up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Bormier has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bender jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bormier walks away with a smile on his face. Bender gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #TD2#

Well Bormier has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
