Kawai has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Severe is really squeezing tight and eventually Kawai passes out! Severe breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Severe shoots in but no luck this time.
Severe dives in and grabs Oken's left leg, looking for a takedown. Oken pushes down on Severe's head and hops out.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Severe is defended easily by Oken.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Severe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Severe goes for a double leg but Oken avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Oken continues to drive forward.
