enabling Slayin to counter with a crisp jab. Slayin tests Dent's chin there with a solid looking shot.#CUT# It looks like Harvey Dent has been cut. Slayin lands a head kick. Dent smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Dent throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Slayin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Slayin throws a nice looking combination but Dent bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Slayin lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Slayin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dent has time to react. Dent takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Slayin cracks Dent with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Dent does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. #CL# Slayin darts in and clinches Dent up against the ropes. Slayin lands with a short shot to the head. Slayin putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Dent in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Slayin using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Dent has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Rhymin Slayin! In his post fight interview, Rhymin Slayin started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Dent has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Eaton has Dent pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Dent manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. This has been an exciting period of action! Eaton not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Eaton working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Eaton looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dent is one step ahead there.

Pierre looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Pierre looking for a submission but Dent manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

#R1# Mountain will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Mountain definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Mountain dives in for a single leg takedown but Dent sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes. Mountain fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keke Mountain. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mountain shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dent but Dent pushes him off and we're back to square one. Mountain shoots for a double leg takedown but Dent sprawls well. He's pushed Mountain's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Dent slaps away a takedown attempt from Mountain, before circling back to the center of the mat. Mountain will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dent misses with a two punch combination.

Dent crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Popinski - the referee stops the clock and Dent gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Popinski. Dent manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Popinski fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Good leg kick by Popinski there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
