#R1# Ahjd's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Golovkin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ahjd scrambles back to his feet. Ahjd is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Golovkin appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Ahjd could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. No joy there for Ahjd, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ahjd tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Golovkin swivels and escapes. Despite the aggression on Golovkin's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Golovkin with a body punch. A glancing blow. Golovkin throws out a powerful jab.#CUT2# It looks like Eeqji Ahjd has been cut. Ahjd is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Golovkin moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

#R1# Bantom tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ahjd paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ahjd appears to be looking for a big counter. Ahjd shoots in for a takedown but Bantom shows good takedown defense. #TD2# Ahjd tries to sprawl but Bantom drives through with a takedown into half guard.#SUB2# Bantom is working for a kimura but Ahjd is defending it quite comfortably.
Ahjd is positioning himself well to prevent Bantom advancing to mount. Ahjd could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ahjd tries to roll over but Bantom keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bantom is controlling the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bantom tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Ahjd trying to control from the bottom.
#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Bantom is looking to clinch but Ahjd is avoiding it.
Bantom wants to clinch up but Ahjd keeps it at a distance. Ahjd throws a big counter combination but Bantom scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Bantom takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Ahjd is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ahjd shoots in for a takedown but Bantom shows good takedown defense. Ahjd fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eeqji Ahjd. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T3# Bantom looks for a takedown but Ahjd sprawls well. #R1# Monahan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ahjd sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Monahan somewhat. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ahjd has eaten all the pies!#TD# Monahan shoots in and bounces Ahjd off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Ahjd pulls Monahan in close to prevent any damage. #SUB# Monahan drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ahjd dives on top into guard.#REVB##SUB# Monahan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ahjd defends well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ahjd throwing strikes but missing. #SUB# Ahjd got a little sloppy there for a moment and Monahan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?!
