#R1# Hjoervarsson scores with a decent looking hook. Hjoervarsson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Hjoervarsson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Reyes's sensitive parts. Reyes tries to clinch but Hjoervarsson is having none of it. Hjoervarsson cracks Reyes with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Reyes falls to his knees and Hjoervarsson doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arnaldur Hjoervarsson! Arnaldur Hjoervarsson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

#R1##TD# Gorlanov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Reyes sprawls well initially but Gorlanov persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Gorlanov has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Reyes tries to hold on but Gorlanov postures up. Reyes is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Gorlanov is staying active. Gorlanov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.#SUB# Gorlanov goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Reyes is on top in guard.

#R1# Reyes feints and then cracks Smithson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Smithson down. Reyes fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Reyes walks into a left hand. Smithson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Reyes is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Reyes is aggressively charging in as Smithson backs up avoiding any damage. Smithson tosses out a jab and Reyes runs right into it face first! Reyes is out cold! Smithson dropped down on all fours and is barking in Reyes's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
