#BC# Dadaeff breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dadaeff throws a good cross that connects.
Gill doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.#TD2# Gill decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Gill trying to control the action but Dadaeff is working from the bottom. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#SUB2# Gill is looking for a kimura but Dadaeff is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gill to get the leverage. #SUB2# Gill seems to be looking for submissions.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Gill is trying to pull guard but Finley has him pressed against the ropes. Gill misses with a hook from the clinch. Finley lands a shoulder strike. Finley gets underhooks to prevent Gill's takedown attempt.
We've been informed that Gill has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. #R1# Gill takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Gill darts in looking for a takedown but Rhino gets double underhooks and turns Gill into the ropes. Rhino throws out a counter right but Gill avoids it with no problem. Rhino misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rhino looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. A head kick misses from Rhino. Rhino listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.#TD2# Rhino shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Rhino was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Rhino is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Gill sneaks back into half guard. Gill is pressing down on Rhino's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Rhino trying to control the position from guard on top but Gill is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #SUB2# Rhino drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gill dives on top into guard.#REVR# Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gill passes easily into side control. Nice work.
