#R1# Akai fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Savi manages to avoid it.#CL# Akai drives through and clinches with Savi against the cage.
Savi tries to pull guard but Akai forces him back to his feet, against the cage.#TD2# Savi has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Akai uses from the top position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SUB2# Savi looking for a guillotine here but Akai defends easily.
#SUB2# Savi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Akai doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Akai manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Akai in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Savi has a closed guard, preventing Akai from standing up. #SUB2# Savi working for a triangle but Akai defends it easily.

Akai tries to free his leg and advance position but Savi is retaining full guard. Akai is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.#SUB2# Savi is looking to cinch up a triangle. Akai throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Savi's body to avoid the submission. Savi has instead reached around Akai's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Savi arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
