#R1# A head kick misses from Scott. A combination from Stephens does no damage. Scott tries for a takedown but Stephens sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Scott shoots for a double leg takedown but Stephens sprawls well. He's pushed Scott's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Scott has a takedown stuffed. Stephens unleashes a big counter combination but Scott bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Scott. That's going to take a lot out of him. Scott misses with a takedown attempt - Stephens sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Darren Stephens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stephens fails to land with a series of punches.
Stephens tries to bum rush Scott with a series of wild strikes but Scott uses good footwork to avoid the assault.#TD2# Stephens shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Scott's guard.#SUB# Scott has his foot on Stephens's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stephens works his way back into a safe position though. Stephens's corner is telling him to maintain position.#SU2# Stephens stands and steps away. Scott gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Scott dodges the punch combination from Stephens.
Scott throws a big counter combination but Stephens scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stephens lands with a kick to the temple. Scott shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" #T1# Thud! ouch! good body kick from Stephens - that will leave a mark!
Scott is breathing heavily. Stephens listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.#KD2# Stephens drops Scott with a right and a left! Stephens comes rushing in but Scott regains his composure and manages to keep Stephens in guard.
#ROC2# Scott is rocked!#SU2# Stephens gets to his feet. Scott looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Oh Scott is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Stephens steps in with a hook that catches Scott right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Stephens follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Scott looks absolutely devastated.

Cooper wants to control from the top but Scott keeps moving. #SUB# Scott has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cooper can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Cooper is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. #SUB# Scott has a loose triangle. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# Scott looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Cooper has picked Scott up and slammed him! Scott can't keep hold of the triangle and Cooper manages to pass to side control! Cooper lands a nice forearm strike. Cooper's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Cooper is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Scott manages to get to full guard. Cooper working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Scott's head. Scott can't keep hold of the triangle and Cooper manages to pass to side control! Scott seems to have got his legs back now. Cooper wants to stand but Scott is controlling his arm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cooper cracks Scott with a big elbow. Cooper lands a strong strike to the head of Scott. That's dazed him! Cooper looking to finish here. Scott is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Cooper lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

#TD2# Scott feints and as Morrison raises his hands in defense, Scott changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Scott trying to control but Morrison is working from the bottom. Scott stops Morrison from standing up. Morrison keeping full guard, as Scott tries to pass. Scott trying to control but Morrison is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morrison pulls Scott in close to prevent any damage. Morrison is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Scott is controlling him. #T1# Scott trying to control the position from guard on top but Morrison is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Morrison is controlling Scott's posture.#REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Scott shoots for a double leg takedown but Morrison sprawls well. He's pushed Scott's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Morrison throws a body kick that misses. Scott with a lazy takedown attempt #CL# and Morrison moves into the clinch.#TD# Morrison manages to pull guard.
#SUB# Morrison isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Scott stacks Morrison on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Scott! Morrison knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Scott on the ground. Scott working away.#T2# Morrison is letting Scott control him for a moment. #SUB2# Scott wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Morrison, who protects the arm well. Scott tries to advance to mount but can't. #T3# Scott remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Morrison tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Scott wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Scott trying to control the position but Morrison is working away. Morrison tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Scott easily slips into full mount! #T4# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Scott is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Morrison is in real trouble.

Morrison tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Morrison tries to reverse the position but Scott maintains control. Morrison might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Morrison has given up his back. Will we see Scott going for some submissions?

But no, Morrison has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Brian Scott showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round! #R3# Scott will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Scott shoots in looking for a takedown but Morrison manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Scott's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Scott ducks under a wild hook from Morrison. Morrison throws a leg kick but Scott sees it coming and checks it nicely. Scott misses with a takedown #CL# and Morrison holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Basil Morrison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Scott.#TD# Morrison pulls guard. Scott trying to control the position from guard on top but Morrison is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Scott uses from the top position. Scott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Morrison swivels though and keeps the full guard. #T2# A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Morrison holds on and takes a little breather. Morrison can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Scott controls the pace. Scott wants to control from the top but Morrison keeps moving. #SUB# Scott got a little sloppy there for a moment and Morrison has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Scott has managed to get both his arms back between Morrison's legs - danger averted. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Scott stands and throws Morrison's legs to the side, diving into side control. #T3# Morrison trying to remain calm as Scott controls from the top position. Morrison is not content to let Scott control the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. A control attempt from Morrison but he's now mounted!#T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Scott avoids the attempt from Morrison to control.#SUB2# Scott working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Morrison turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Scott off and cradles Morrison's limp body as Scott celebrates with his corner.
