A battle for position here, against the cage. I was talking to Cape's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Tran goes for a takedown attempt but Cape pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Cape lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tran throws a lazy body kick #CL# and Cape counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Cape lands a knee to the body.
