Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Buyuang Kanduang (ranked 8454 p4p, 312 weight class) and Karl Max (ranked 21934 p4p, 662 weight class). Karl Max told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Buyuang Kanduang! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 6 losses; Karl Max!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Max takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Kanduang stops Max from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Max might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kanduang haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Max has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Kanduang! Can he survive? No! He's out! Max gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Kanduang looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Santos Jr tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kanduang manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kanduang misses with a takedown attempt - Santos Jr sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Santos Jr wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Santos Jr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kanduang sprawls well. Kanduang wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Santos Jr gets slowly back to his feet.

Santos Jr dances in with a quick combination. Kanduang is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Santos Jr snaps Kanduang's head back. Kanduang stumbles backwards against the cage. Santos Jr steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Kanduang's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Kanduang just didn't come prepared.

Well Kanduang has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
