#R1# Ramano throws a right hand that misses
and Axe counters with a stiff right hand. Axe throws a leg kick #TD# and Ramano counters with a nice double leg into side control. Axe won't be happy with that. Sloppy strikes there by Ramano. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ramano misses with the ground and pound. Axe avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Ramano. Axe bucks up and tries to throw Ramano off but instead Ramano has got his back! Axe looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Ramano is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Ramano has the hooks in. Axe is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Ramano definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Ramano somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.#SUB# Ramano looking to break Axe's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Axe remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Ramano will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Axe is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Ramano is landing with strikes from the back. #T1##SUB# Ramano working for the choke. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Axe wants to get back to his feet. Ramano punches Axe on the ear. Axe tries to escape the position.
Axe covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Ramano lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. #ROC# Axe is rocked! Ramano has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Axe is trapped and Ramano is scoring with shots to the head and body. Axe is still in real trouble! Can Ramano finish him? Ramano scoring with big shots to the body. Axe is looking for a way out. A despairing look towards the ref and the official steps in to stop the fight. Axe was obviously done but didn't want to tap out.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ray Ramano! After winning the bout, Ray Ramano thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

#R1# Pow throws a head kick that misses. Axe tries to bum rush Pow with a series of wild strikes but Pow uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pow is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Axe. Axe on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Pow. Pow obviously looking to wear him down.
Axe misses with a low kick. Axe's coach down at Island Safe Space was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Axe's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Pow blocks a head kick by Axe.
Axe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pow's waist but Pow gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Axe off to one side. Pow fails in his attempt to clinch. A head kick misses from Pow. Pow lands with a kick to the temple. Axe shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Kung Pow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pow connects with a leg kick. Axe looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Axe tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pow defends well and Axe ends up having to push Pow into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Axe Throws a clean left jab. Axe Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Pow's chin! Pow crumbles to the ground and Axe follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Axe!

#R1# Adesanya has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Axe finds it's way round the side to connect with Adesanya's head. Adesanya walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Axe is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Adesanya like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Adesanya from another fist facial!
