#R1# Mclean wants to clinch but Em slips to the side enabling Em to counter with a crisp jab. #CUT2# It looks like Lenny Mclean has been cut. Em scores with a hook to the body. Mclean takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Mclean tries to clinch enabling Em to counter with a crisp jab. Mclean tries to clinch and Em connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.#CUT2# Lenny Mclean's cut is getting worse. Lenny Mclean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mclean throws a low kick but it's checked well by Em. Em circles away from the clinch attempt#KD2# and Em counters with a crisp right hand that drops Mclean! Em lets Mclean back up to his feet, looking for a finish! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Em fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mclean looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Mclean is breathing heavily.#KD2# Em drops Mclean with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mclean looks back up at him and smiles so Em waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

#R1# Clegg fails miserably with a takedown attempt.#TD# Em tries to sprawl but Clegg drives through with a takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Em won't allow Clegg to pass to mount. Em keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Clegg has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Clegg throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clegg looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Em with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #SUB# Clegg is working for a kimura but Em is defending it quite comfortably.

#T1# Em is refusing to be controlled, as Clegg sits in half guard. Clegg lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Clegg wants to take a breather but Em is having none of it. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Clegg throws a big right hand that misses. Em preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Clegg loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Clegg throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Em works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Clegg really is a fat lump. Clegg throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. #SUB# Clegg is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Em is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Em has escaped and now he's on top! #REVB# Em postures up.

Clegg misses with an elbow from the bottom. Clegg is looking for a sweep. Clegg manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Clegg trying to pass the guard but Em defending well. Em keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. #SUB# Em is defending against the submission attempts here by Clegg.
#T4# Clegg lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Clegg not landing any meaningful shots this time. Em avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Clegg. Em is in trouble now - Clegg has advanced to mount! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Clegg trying to control but Em is having none of it. #SUB# Clegg has control of Em's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Em regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Em has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Clegg to stand back up!#ROC2# Clegg is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Arslan Clegg has been cut. Clegg circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Em. Clegg falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Em!

#R1# Em scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.#TD# Grenoble closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Grenoble lands in his opponent's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Grenoble trying to control but Em is working from the bottom. Grenoble sitting in guard, not really doing much. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Em is on top in guard.
#REVB# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grenoble is trying to keep Em in close.

He thinks about going to the ground but Grenoble looks back up at him and smiles so Em waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Grenoble glances at the clock... BAM! Em nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Grenoble crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Grenoble is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

#R1# Futoni wants to clinch. Em ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Em lunges at Futoni with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Futoni's hand. #CUT2# It looks like Sua Futoni has been cut. Em comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Futoni shoots in and gets a takedown into Em's guard.#ES2# Em manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Em working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Futoni tries to stall but Em uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Em tries to throw a body punch but Futoni avoids it by throwing Em back against the cage. Futoni is working for takedown but Em is calmly controlling the position for now. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Futoni goes for a takedown in the clinch but Em prevents it.

Em works on Futoni's body with a couple of short punches. Futoni is breathing heavily. Em makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Em lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. #T2# Futoni tries to pull guard but Em won't allow it.

Em is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Em is trying to break free. Em lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Em cracks Futoni with a nice body shot. A left hand lands to the body for Em.
Em lands an uppercut. Em lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Futoni. Em lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Futoni or not. Em lands a body punch. Em avoiding damage.
Em lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Futoni tries to work over Em's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Futoni goes for a takedown attempt but Em pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Sua Futoni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#T3# Em cracks Futoni with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Em closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Futoni! Em dives in looking to finish! Futoni is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bryan Em! After winning the bout, Bryan Em thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

#R1# Biopic fails with an attempt to clinch.
Biopic tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. It seemed like Em was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Biopic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Em looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Biopic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Em's waist but Em gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Biopic off to one side. A head kick from Biopic lands but Em takes it in his stride. A lazy left from Em finds it's target. Biopic throws a head kick but Em moves out of range.
Biopic throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. That kick from Biopic tenderised Em's leg. Em is trying to keep his angry face on. Biopic turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Biopic throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Em. Biopic misses with a head kick.
The fighters circling - Em throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Em jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bryan Em is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#T1# The fight stays on the outside here - Biopic looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Em drops Biopic with a straight right hand, right on the button! Em follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Bock is trying to pull guard but Em turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.#TD2# Em is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Bock can't fight it off and eventually Em manages to take the fight to the floor. Bock looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.#SUB# Bock throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Em escapes and throws Bock's legs to the side, diving into side control! Bock is looking to regain half guard here but Em keeps moving and retains side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A control attempt from Bock but he's now mounted!#T1# Bock wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Em.
Bock bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Em pulls Bock in close to prevent any damage. Let's hope that Em has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#SUB# Bock drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Em manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bock has Em in his guard.#REVB##SUB# Bock throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Em. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Em sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Bock keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Em maintains the clinch. Bock tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Em smiles and moves away.

Em really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
