#R1# Myung slaps away a takedown attempt from Pandrago, before circling back to the center of the mat. Pandrago shoots in but Myung avoids the takedown attempt easily. Pandrago tries to close the distance and clinch but Myung swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pandrago moves in looking to clinch but Myung pushes him off.#TD# Myung decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Myung's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pandrago is looking for a sweep. Myung is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Myung Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kim Bo Myung. Well Myung has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
