Valhalla maintains the clinch. Watkins is trying to break the clinch but Valhalla is controlling him. Watkins is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.#TD2# Valhalla pulls guard. Valhalla wants to sweep here but Watkins controlling him for the moment. Valhalla doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Watkins is looking to stand up but Valhalla won't let him. #SUB2# Valhalla has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Watkins is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Valhalla. OConnor definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as OConnor takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. OConnor effectively controlling the action here. A head punch on the inside from OConnor fails to land. Valhalla has OConnor pushed against the cage. A nice right hand lands inside from OConnor. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Valhalla wants to stall.
