Nedkov looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Nedkov tries to stand but Boyd controls the position and pulls Nedkov into his guard.
Boyd is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR#
Nedkov throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nedkov wants to improve his position but Boyd is controlling well.
Nedkov is looking to control Boyd's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nedkov avoid being mounted?

Boyd is working to tighten his grip on Nedkov's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Nedkov has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Boyd is really squeezing tight and eventually Nedkov passes out! Boyd breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
