Sanchez dives in for a single leg takedown but Rivera sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Sanchez shoots in for a double leg but Rivera sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Rivera shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sanchez sprawls well. Sanchez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rivera gets slowly back to his feet. Rivera is breathing heavily. Rivera avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Sanchez breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

#R1# Sanchez throws a series of punches but Rowler moves out of range. #CL2# Rowler fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sanchez, pushing him back against the cage. Rowler goes for a takedown attempt but Sanchez pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
#TD# Sanchez is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rowler's half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Sanchez not doing much here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rowler wants to control but Sanchez is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Sanchez keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. It connects and Sanchez has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. The fighters circle momentarily. Rowler darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.#CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. Sanchez tries for a takedown but Rowler manages to get underhooks.

Sanchez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Sanchez shoots in for a takedown but Regan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.#TD# Regan shoots in and gets a takedown into Sanchez's guard. Regan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. #SU# Sanchez is working an open guard so Regan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Regan lands with a thumping leg kick.

Reinhard Heydrich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Heydrich just misses with a punch to the body.
Sanchez seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Heydrich's coach down at London MMA Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Heydrich's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Heydrich avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
