#R1# Knagge uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bull.
Knagge shoots for a takedown but Bull saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Knagge shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Knagge takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Bull should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Knagge has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bull finds it's way round the side to connect with Knagge's head. Bull ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Knagge moves away. Knagge shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bull defends it nicely. Bull throws a body punch but Knagge moves out of range. Knagge looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kjell Knagge. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bull displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Knagge. Knagge tries to clinch but fails miserably and Bull counters with a straight right hand. Knagge walks into a left hand. Balder Bull is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#T1# The crowd cheers as Bull lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bull connects with a good right hand that stumbles Knagge. Knagge circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Bull lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Knagge shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bull but Bull pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bull throws out a loose jab but Knagge uses good head movement to avoid it. Bull listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Knagge ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Knagge tries to clinch up. Bull throws a body punch but Knagge moves out of range. A jab from Bull misses. Knagge shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bull defends it nicely.#T2# The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bull checks a leg kick. Despite the aggression on Bull's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Bull looks to land a combination but Knagge avoids it well. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bull stuffs the takedown. Bull lands with an overhand left. Bull thuds a left hand into Knagge's body. Knagge moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Knagge tries to clinch but Bull is having none of it. Bull lands a nice shot that snaps Knagge's head back.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bull, as that shot connected.
Knagge gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Knagge takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Bull fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Knagge looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Knagge is breathing heavily. Knagge is looking to clinch but Bull is avoiding it.
#T3# Knagge takes a body punch but keeps moving. Knagge takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Nice jab there from Bull. Knagge is looking to clinch but Bull is avoiding it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bull! But no joy. Bull is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Knagge had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.#KD2# Bull cracks Knagge with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Knagge looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bull finish him?
#ROC2# Knagge is rocked! Bull cracks Knagge on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Knagge falls backwards against the cage. Bull follows up with more strikes that drop Knagge to his knees. Bull keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Knagge! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Balder Bull! A relieved looking Balder Bull thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
