Elliott darts in and clinches Mir up against the cage.#TD#
Mir is fighting off a takedown attempt but Elliott is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Mir to the mat. Mir regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mir wants to stand up but Elliott is controlling him. #SU#
Elliott stands and steps away. Mir gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. #CL#

Elliott feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mir takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Jeudy throws a shot to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jeudy.
Jeudy scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Jeudy cracks Mir with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Mir with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jeudy to score with a decent uppercut.
Jeudy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mir.
Mir throws a quick counter head kick but Jeudy was just out of range.
Jeudy lands a really nice looking cross but Mir seems unphased.
Jeudy ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Mir is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mir tries to strike from the bottom.
Renoir really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mir. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
