Armstrong tries to land a body kick#TD# and Temrezov counters with a takedown into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Armstrong tries to escape but Temrezov is in control. You can see the frustration on Armstrong's face as Temrezov controls the position. Armstrong is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Temrezov asserts his dominance and retains side control. Temrezov staying calm. Armstrong pushes Temrezov away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Temrezov gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.#T1##SU# Temrezov decides to stand back up. Armstrong scores with the left hand. Temrezov knows he should have avoided that one. #CUT2# It looks like Kaplan Temrezov has been cut. An inside leg kick from Armstrong misses. Armstrong keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

He pushes Temrezov off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Armstrong lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Armstrong connects with a jab. Armstrong tries to close the distance and clinch but Temrezov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. #T3# Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. Shakamutdinov shoots in for a takedown but Temrezov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Nice sprawl there from Shakamutdinov as Temrezov shoots in. Shakamutdinov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Temrezov tries to avoid it but Shakamutdinov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Temrezov to the ground. Temrezov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for AbdulAziz Shakamutdinov.
