Williamson lands a jab to the nose. Dyddy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dyddy takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Williamson throws a right hand that misses
#TD# and Dyddy counters with a single leg into guard. Williamson didn't expect that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dyddy passes Williamson's right leg, so he's now in half guard. #SUB# Dyddy is looking for a kimura here.
Williamson is staying active underneath Dyddy, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Dyddy working over Williamson with some ground and pound. Williamson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Dyddy is nestled in close to Williamson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Dyddy is looking to advance position but Williamson won't allow it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dyddy trying to pass the guard but Williamson defending well. Williamson is looking to improve his position.
Dyddy wants to free his trapped foot but Williamson is holding on for dear life with his legs. Williamson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Dyddy. Dyddy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Williamson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.#T3# The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dyddy connects with a nice short shot to Williamson's temple. Dyddy tries to pass the half guard into mount. Williamson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Williamson is concentrating on defense, preventing Dyddy from advancing position. Williamson is trying to control but Dyddy passes into side control!
You can see the frustration on Williamson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Dyddy working the head and body with strikes. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dyddy landing strikes. Williamson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dyddy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dyddy in side control, just content to control the action for now. Williamson throws a jab but it's blocked by Dyddy. Dyddy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Williamson swivels and escapes. Dyddy walks into a straight right hand from Williamson. Williamson stuffs the takedown. No luck with that takedown attempt from Dyddy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Py Dyddy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Williamson tries to score with a low kick but Dyddy moves his leg out of the way. Williamson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. It seemed like Williamson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Williamson throws a leg kick but Dyddy sees it coming and moves out of range. A punch combination from Williamson misses. Dyddy shoots in looking for a takedown but Williamson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dyddy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Despite the aggression on Williamson's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dyddy throws a leg kick and Williamson counters with a left and a right that stings Dyddy. Dyddy misses with the combination.
Dyddy with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Williamson to score with a decent uppercut.#T1# Williamson throws a good cross that connects.
Don Williamson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williamson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Williamson has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Dyddy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Williamson as he jumps to the side. Dyddy has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Williamson scores with a jab. Don Williamson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Williamson thuds a left hand into Dyddy's body. Williamson throws a low kick but it's checked well by Dyddy. Williamson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Dyddy blocks a leg kick.#TD# Dyddy scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dyddy staying calm. Dyddy landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. #T2##SUB# Dyddy working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Dyddy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Williamson keeps working. Williamson is trying to control Dyddy's posture but Dyddy avoids it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Williamson can do anything to dispel that myth. Dyddy has control of an arm but Williamson manages to advance to Dyddy's back! Dyddy is in bad spot here.
#T3# Dyddy is working hard here to advance position. Williamson is trying to stick to Dyddy's back but Dyddy is turning into Williamson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Williamson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Dyddy. Py Dyddy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dyddy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Williamson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Dyddy is really struggling to control Williamson but he's trying to hold on to the position. Dyddy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dyddy throwing shots but Williamson is blocking nicely. Williamson wants to improve his position but Dyddy is controlling well.

Williamson tests Dyddy's chin there with a solid looking shot. Williamson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dyddy throws out the jab. Williamson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dyddy. Williamson cracks a nice hook into Dyddy's ribs.#TD# Dyddy shoots in and gets a takedown into Williamson's guard. Dyddy wants to pass the guard but Williamson is keeping the position. Williamson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dyddy controls from within his opponent's guard. Dyddy advances position into side control!#T1# Dyddy tries to advance to mount but can't. A lull in the action here as Dyddy stalls from top position. Check out the look on Dyddy's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

#T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dyddy wants to control but Williamson is keeping him busy. Dyddy is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. #SUB# Dyddy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dyddy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! #SUB# Dyddy working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Williamson tries to buck Dyddy off but Dyddy is having none of it.#T3# Williamson wants to control but Dyddy postures up. Williamson is not content to let Dyddy control the position. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dyddy tries to move to mount but Williamson blocks the move with his legs. Williamson wants to control but Dyddy postures up. Dyddy trying to control the action but Williamson is working from the bottom. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Dyddy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Williamson finds it's way round the side to connect with Dyddy's head. Dyddy walks into a stiff left hand from Williamson. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!#TD# Williamson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Williamson keeping moving, preventing Dyddy from controlling successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! Py Dyddy showed his dominance in that final round. I think Dyddy has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
