The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dazzler tries to avoid it but Souza manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dazzler to the ground. Dazzler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A little feinted left hand from Dazzler on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Dazzler connects with a body shot that sends Souza's belly button to the back.
Souza shoots in looking for a takedown. Dazzler tries to sprawl out of it but Souza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dazzler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Souza darts in looking for a takedown but Dazzler gets double underhooks and turns Souza into the cage.
Bobby Dazzler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gilberto Da Souza.
