Page manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Page trying to control the position here. Page looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Boraros trying to control the position from guard on top but Page is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boraros accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boraros looking to sit in guard and control but Page gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# Page really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Page is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. #T1# Page passes into half guard. Carroll shoots in for a takedown but Boraros shows good takedown defense. Boraros wants to counter the offense by Carroll and move into the clinch position. Carroll shoots in but Boraros avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Salvatore Carroll. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carroll shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Boraros but Boraros pushes him off and we're back to square one. Carroll shoots in looking for a takedown. Boraros tries to sprawl out of it but Carroll keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage.
