Agayev shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mi counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Agayev off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Mi follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Agayev was out before he hit the floor.

Mi tries to close the distance and clinch but Agayev swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Agayev keeps the fight on the outside.
Mi throws a quick inside leg kick.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Mi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Oh Agayev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Mi has cracked Agayev with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Mi lands another huge swinging hook and Agayev tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Agayev, before Mi can land any more shots!

Alfredo feints a jab promting Agayev to slip. Alfredo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Agayev slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.#CUT#
It looks like Mikail Agayev has been cut.
Agayev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alfredo tries to avoid it but Agayev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alfredo to the ground. Alfredo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. #TD#
Alfredo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Agayev quickly recovers to half guard.
Alfredo is pressing down on Agayev's thigh, looking to free his foot. Agayev is holding on for now.
