A short right from Fei. Adlar looking for a takedown. Fei doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Fei swings wildly with an uppercut but Adlar uses good head movement to avoid it. A head punch on the inside from Fei fails to land. Fei misses with a body punch.
Fei working some nice short punches in the clinch. Fei lands a right hand that snaps the head of Adlar backwards. Adlar is trying to break the clinch but Fei is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Fei. Fei throws a head punch that misses. Adlar looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Fei tries to throw a body punch but Adlar avoids it by throwing Fei back against the ropes. Fei lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. #T1# Adlar goes for a takedown in the clinch but Fei prevents it.

Fei pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes. Fei working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. A short left from Fei. #T2# Adlar is looking to control Fei's arms but Fei gets an underhook and turns him. Now Adlar has his back to the ropes. Fei misses with a punch on the inside.

#TD2# Adlar gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. #SUB# Fei is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Adlar rolls with it to try and escape but Fei cranks on the arm and Adlar is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Daugherty creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. #TD2# Adlar wants the takedown. Daugherty is fighting it off but Adlar persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Daugherty's guard against the cage.#ES# Daugherty has his feet on Adlar's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. #TD2# Daugherty gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Adlar to score an easy takedown into full guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Adlar lands a couple of decent looking shots. Daugherty preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Adlar trying to control but Daugherty is working from the bottom. Daugherty not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Adlar lands with a punch from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Adlar looks to land a strike but Daugherty avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Daugherty preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Adlar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Daugherty is breathing heavily. Adlar circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Daugherty to the canvas! Daugherty doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Adlar keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bekim Adlar! In his post fight interview, Bekim Adlar started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
