Allen lands a hook that snaps the head of Spong backwards.
Allen pushes Spong back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.#BC2#

Spong looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Spong moves out of range of the body kick from Allen.
Spong shoots in and drives through. Allen sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Slade Spong. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Allen drops Spong onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Spong is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Allen dips a shoulder and cracks Spong with a mighty uppercut! Spong falls back against the cage and Allen unloads with a barrage of strikes! Spong is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Allen screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eddie Allen!
Eddie Allen tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Em misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Spong uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Em.
The fight stays on the outside here - Spong looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Spong is defended easily by Em.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Em checks a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Spong closes the distance but Em moves to the side
and Em makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Spong steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Em.

and Spong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. #T1#
No luck with that takedown attempt from Spong.
Em appears to be looking for a big counter.
Andy Em has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Slade Spong.

It looks like Slade Spong has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Em counters with a right hand from hell and Spong is out cold! A vicious knockout!
