#R1# Burgess defending well as Eorl loads up on a big left hand. Eorl pushing out the jab but it's not landing. #TD2# Eorl shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Burgess manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.#SUB2# Eorl drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Eorl jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. #SUB# Burgess has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Eorl is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Burgess. Eorl in side control, just content to control the action for now. #SUB2# Eorl is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Burgess has escaped the position, nice work there. Burgess is not in a great position here, taking some shots. #T1# Eorl taking a breather here. Eorl landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# Eorl has hold of Burgess's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Burgess seems comfortable defending it but Eorl has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Burgess is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Burgess is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Eorl couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Hardis Eorl!
