#R1# Velasquez has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Dudee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Velasquez. A little feinted left hand from Dudee on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Dudee connects with the punch. Velasquez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dudee moves away. Dudee throwing a counter right hand but Velasquez manages to avoid it. Velasquez looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. A looping hook to the body misses from Velasquez. Dudee does a little dance to reset his feet. Dudee swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Velasquez swings widly with a right hand
and Velasquez takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Velasquez misses with an uppercut
and Dudee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Dudee feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Velasquezs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!#CL2# Velasquez gets a clinch. #BC2# Velasquez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Velasquez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dudee throwing a counter right hand but Velasquez manages to avoid it. Dudee lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dudee uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Velasquez.#T1# Velasquez looks to throw the jab but Dudee is out of range. #CL2# Velasquez forces Dudee back against the ropes and clinches. Velasquez taking a breather. Velasquez is pushing Dudee up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Velasquez stalling against the ropes.
Velasquez is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
#T2# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Velasquez wants a takedown.
Velasquez tries to circle away but Dudee has him pinned against the ropes. Dudee stops a takedown attempt from Velasquez.
#BC# Dudee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Velasquez throws a body punch but Dudee moves out of range. Velasquez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dudee avoids it really well and circles away. Sum Dudee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roberto Velasquez.#T3# Dudee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Velasquez. Dudee is looking to counter punch. A big left from Velasquez misses. Velasquez darts in trying to clinch enabling Dudee to counter with a crisp jab. Velasquez misses with a straight right. As Velasquez looks to move away, Dudee throws a big counter combo but Velasquez just gets out of the way. Velasquez waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dudee. Velasquez misses with a hook
and Dudee counters with a three punch combo that has Velasquez backing up. Velasquez nods at Dudee to acknowledge the strikes. Dudee keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Velasquez. As Velasquez tries to get set, Dudee tries to push him back and clinch up but Velasquez manages to avoid the attempt.#T4##CL2# Velasquez darts in and clinches Dudee up against the ropes. Velasquez has Dudee pushed against the ropes.#BC# Dudee breaks the clinch.
#TD2# Velasquez drives through with a takedown into Dudee's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. This has been an exciting period of action! Velasquez trying to control but Dudee is working from the bottom. Velasquez is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.#SUB2# Velasquez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Velasquez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. #T5##SUB2# Velasquez drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Velasquez as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Dudee screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Velasquez! Nice submission victory there!
