#TD2# Foote gets the takedown into side control. Foote trying to control the action but Boranbayev is working from the bottom. Foote taking a breather here. Foote connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Boranbayev some visible discomfort.
Boranbayev is not content to let Foote control the position. You can see the frustration on Boranbayev's face as Foote controls the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boranbayev is looking to regain half guard here but Foote keeps moving and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Foote trying to control the position but Boranbayev is working away. Foote sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Boranbayev is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

#R1# Mista fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Boranbayev has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Mista lands the left hand. Mista avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Boranbayev fails in his attempt to clinch. Mista fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Mista throws a lazy body kick #TD2# and Boranbayev counters with a single leg into guard. Mista didn't expect that. Mista working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Boranbayev. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boranbayev controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Mista wants to stand up but Boranbayev is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mista is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Boranbayev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mubeen tries to avoid it but Boranbayev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mubeen to the ground. Mubeen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Boranbayev swats away the attempt to clinch by Mubeen. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boranbayev bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Boranbayev lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Koloff tries for a takedown but Boranbayev sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Koloff throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Boranbayev. Koloff is looking to clinch but Boranbayev is avoiding it.
Boranbayev takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Koloff shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Boranbayev sprawls well.
