Einar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Einar not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Kucherov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jims was covering up waiting for the punch and Kucherov finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Kucherov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kucherov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
It looks like Kucherov might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
