#R1# Jake shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as North sprawls well. North wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jake gets slowly back to his feet. North fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jake manages to avoid it. North does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. It appears Jake was looking to counter with a kick there. North tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. #CL# Jake clinches up against the cage. North misses with an elbow over the top. Jake blocks an elbow strike. North throws an elbow but it's blocked.
#BC2# North's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Jake. North tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. North throws a leg kick #TD# and Jake counters with a shoot takedown. North fights it but they end up in guard. #SUB2# North isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jake stacks North on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jake!#T1# North tries to buck Jake off but Jake is having none of it. Jake in side control, just content to control the action for now. Jake advances to mount. Jake working the ground and pound effectively.

North throws a front kick aimed at Jake's knee but Jake avoids it well. Jake has a takedown stuffed. North misses with a head kick.
