Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Jared Morgan (ranked 6775 p4p, 282 weight class) and Drew Peacock (ranked 5387 p4p, 250 weight class). Morgan comes to the ring accompanied by Thug Luv: Bone Thugs N Harmony ft 2pac. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 2 losses; Jared Morgan! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Drew Peacock ! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Peacock tries to sprawl but Morgan drives through with a takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Morgan (2) vs (0) Peacock Morgan stalling. Morgan is pressing down on Peacock 's thigh, looking to free his foot. Peacock is holding on for now. Morgan trying to control the pace. Peacock looking for submissions from an awkward position here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peacock makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Peacock . Morgan wants to pass the guard but Peacock is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Morgan showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Morgan has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Morgan advances position into side control! Score +3 for passing guard: Morgan (5) vs (0) Peacock Peacock tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Morgan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgan trying to control the position but Peacock is working away. Morgan has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Peacock is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Morgan yanks on the arm and Peacock is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Morgan.

The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 2 losses; Silvio Gracie! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Drew Peacock ! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Francis DeMontford.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Peacock shoots in looking for a takedown. Gracie tries to sprawl out of it but Peacock keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gracie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Gracie appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Gracie stuffs the takedown. Peacock wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peacock is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gracie's half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Gracie (0) vs (2) Peacock We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie wants to improve his position but Peacock is controlling well.
Gracie is working hard here to advance position. Peacock is keen to just control but Gracie is a slippery customer. Gracie is pressing down on Peacock 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Peacock preventing the sweep. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Peacock from controlling successfully. Gracie knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Peacock on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie looking for a sweep. Not yet Gracie, not yet. Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gracie has his foot on Peacock 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Peacock works his way back into a safe position though. Gracie is controlling Peacock 's posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Peacock advances to half guard. Gracie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Gracie manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Peacock looks winded! Gracie is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Peacock is sitting in close to Gracie's body. Gracie has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Peacock is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Peacock is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Gracie.
