Chase avoids the elbow strike from Jojo, against the cage.
Jojo lands with a short head shot on the inside. Chase jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jojo walks away with a smile on his face. Chase gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. Chase has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jojo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Jojo throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Chase tries to pull guard but Jojo won't allow it.

Chase stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Carter is looking for the KO!#ROC2# Chase is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Giovanni Chase has been cut.#TD2# Carter shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Carter slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Carter lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.

Baker is looking to stall here but Chase recovers full guard. Baker wants to stand and escape but instead Chase has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVR# Hammerfist, elbow! yells Chase's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Chase preventing the sweep. Chase lands a couple of digs. Chase with a nice head shot there. Chase postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Chase working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Chase throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! #R1##TD2# Miller closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Chase's guard. Miller content to stall in guard here. Chase tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Miller's corner. There ya go! There ya go! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller stays in close to Chase's body and controls the position. Chase will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Chase keeping full guard, as Miller tries to pass. Chase throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller wants to pass the guard but Chase is keeping the position.
