Wood tries to score a power double leg takedown but Beater sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wood somewhat.
It seemed like Beater was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Beater slips a straight right by Wood.
Wood rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Beater moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Beater looks like he wants to counter punch here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
