Seghir has a takedown stuffed. Seghir fails with a takedown attempt. Thomas Wid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walid Seghir.#TD# Wid darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Seghir avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Wid. Wid has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. #R1# Khalidov shoots for a double leg takedown but Seghir sprawls well. He's pushed Khalidov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Khalidov goes for a double leg but Seghir avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Seghir continues to drive forward.#CL# Khalidov instigates a clinch. #TD2# Seghir is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Khalidov can't fight it off and eventually Seghir manages to take the fight to the floor. Khalidov looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Khalidov is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Seghir dives into side control.
#REVR# Seghir has knee on belly and moves into mount. Seghir controlling the pace for now. Khalidov wants to hold on but Seghir pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Seghir looking to control and managing it successfully. Seghir with the ground and pound from mount.
