Boyka throws a hook to the side of Morozov's head but Morozov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. It seemed like Morozov was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Boyka scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Boyka wants to land a leg kick but Morozov is out of range. Morozov drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Boyka defends it well. Boyka tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Morozov was well out of range. Poor timing from Boyka. Harengody tries to bum rush Boyka with a series of wild strikes but Boyka uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Boyka pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Harengody back to the cage. Boyka follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Harengody will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bielefeld has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Bielefeld looks to throw the jab but Boyka is out of range. Nice cross by Boyka. Miocic tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Boyka defends well and Miocic ends up having to push Boyka into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
