Goyo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gregory napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Gregory parries the strikes from Goyo easily there. Goyo is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Gregory to escape.
Goyo is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

It looks like Goyo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Let's hope that Goyo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Timmy Gregory.
I think Gregory has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
