We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Head throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Vamvakaris works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Baker misses with a leg kick. #TD2# Baker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Head sprawls well initially but Baker persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Baker throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Head is trying to get back to full guard.#SUB2# Baker is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Baker is looking to take a break and control but Head is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. #T1# Head is trying to get back to full guard. #TD2# Lewandowski bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.#ES# Head sneaks out the side door and pushes Lewandowski away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Paul Lewandowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lewandowski throws a right and a left that Head avoids nicely. Head appears to be looking for a big counter. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The fighters circle momentarily. Lewandowski darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Head manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Head postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. PepperHead manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Head manages to get himself to full guard.
