Davies throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. #TD2# Davies feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Davies looking to pass the guard. Duke working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Davies. #SUB# Duke looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Davies has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.#SUB# Duke looking for a guillotine here but Davies defends easily.

And that's the end of the fight! Davo Davies comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Davies has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. #R1##TD2# Lipz shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lipz was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Duke manages to work his way to half guard, despite Lipz's best efforts. Lipz trying to control the action but Duke is working from the bottom. Duke works his way to full guard. Good work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lipz looks winded!#SUB# Duke has his feet on Lipz's thighs here. He's pushed Lipz off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Lipz screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wrist connects with a nice short shot to Duke's temple. Wrist seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Wrist wants to take a breather but Duke is having none of it. #SUB# Duke looking for submissions off his back. Duke moves into full guard.

Duke takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.#CUT2# It looks like Carson Duke has been cut. Looper fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Duke has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. A solid leg kick lands there for Looper.
Duke tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Looper throws a leg kick which misses Duke's front leg but catches the back leg as Duke tries to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Looper lands with a slapping head kick. Duke is trying hard to land a takedown here. Looper sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Looper blocks a head kick by Duke.
