Al Khuzeem makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Al Khuzeem wants to pass the guard but Hamada is keeping the position. Hamada wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Al Khuzeem is now in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Al Khuzeem is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hamada. Al Balawi shrugs it off though. A head kick by Hamada misses #TD# and Al Balawi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hamada won't be happy with that. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. #CL2# Seghir clinches up against the cage. Seghir displaying some good clinch control by pressing Hamada up against the cage. Hamada tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Seghir smiles and moves away.
#TD2# Hamada tries to sprawl but Seghir drives through with a takedown into half guard. Hamada moves into full guard.
Seghir postures up in Hamada's guard and throws a big left but Hamada blocks it. Seghir must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Woods definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Woods throws a half hearted mid kick. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hamada! But no joy. Hamada tries to clinch up but Woods circles away and keeps his distance. Hamada goes for a double leg but Woods avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Woods continues to drive forward. Hamada uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Woods.
It seemed like Hamada was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. JJ Woods seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hamada tries to score a power double leg takedown but Woods sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hamada somewhat. JJ Woods has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That kick from Woods tenderised Hamada's leg. Hamada is trying to keep his angry face on. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Woods connects with a leg kick. Hamada looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Woods. Hamada steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Woods. Hamada thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Woods if he has to take too many more of those.

Woods lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hamada's sensitive parts. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Woods turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Woods throws a wild body kick that Hamada sees coming a mile off. Woods lands with a kick to the temple. Hamada tries to clinch but Woods is having none of it. JJ Woods is winning the standup battle so far. Woods moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Hamada takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Hamada is trying desperately to land a takedown but Woods is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Hamada. Woods avoids a punch combination nicely.

#R1# Uyar closes the distance and clinches up with Hamada, looking for a takedown. Uyar pushes Hamada against the cage but Hamada circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.#TD2# Uyar tries to sprawl but Hamada drives through with a takedown into half guard. Hamada thows a huge punch but Uyar dodges it nicely.
Uyar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Hamada works his foot free and advances to mount. Hamada misses with a head shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Uyar is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hamada has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Uyar wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hamada.
#SUB2# Hamada is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Uyar is forced to tap! Great finish!
