David attempts a counter takedown but Benton avoids it well and moves away.#CL2# Benton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with David, pushing him back against the cage.#TD2# Benton jumps guard and drags David to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. David trying to control the position from guard on top but Benton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. David stays in close to Benton's body and controls the position. David has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Benton is proving hard to escape from. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Benton avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Benton is pulling down on David's head. Nutty throws a combination that misses #TD2# and David decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Nutty's guard.#SUB2# David drops back looking for a leg! Nutty is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nutty manages to kick David off! David jumps back into Nutty's guard. David prevents Nutty from getting back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. David is in close to Nutty's body, working some short punches and elbows.
