Bono shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sandman napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Bono trying to control the position but Sandman is working away. #SUB2#
Bono wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sandman, who protects the arm well.
Sandman tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bono wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sandman has one of Bono's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Bono wants to control but Sandman is keeping him busy. #T1#
Bono wants to control for a moment but Sandman uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Sandman is trying to control but can't.
Bono trying to control the action but Sandman is working from the bottom.
Bono tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sandman knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Sandman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.#T2#
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bono is looking to take a break and control but Sandman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Bono dives in and grabs Sandman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sandman pushes down on Bono's head and hops out.

Bono leaves his chin hanging out and Sandman seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Bono crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Mr Sandman decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.

Bono is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Bono thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Bono throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bono seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2#
Bono is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Patterson shoots in but Bono avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bono was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Patterson throws a combination. Bono tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Patterson cracks Bono with an open hand slap.
Patterson shoots in looking for a takedown. Bono tries to sprawl out of it but Patterson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bono manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Patterson really is a fat lump.
