#R1# Cain shoots in for a takedown but Duffy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Duffy throws a poor cross that misses
#TD# and Cain counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Cain working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Cain landing with the ground and pound. Cain throwing strikes from guard but Duffy blocks nicely. Cain scoring with some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cain throws a big right hand that misses. Duffy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cain is controlling him. Cain stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Duffy swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cain postures up in Duffy's guard and throws a big left but Duffy blocks it. Duffy trying to keep a closed guard but Cain is proving a slippery customer.

Duffy looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Cain not landing any meaningful shots this time. Cain thows a huge punch but Duffy dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cain slips a nice elbow through Duffy's hands, connecting with Duffy's forehead. Duffy avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Cain. #SUB# Cain is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Duffy is trying to get back to full guard. Duffy keeps trying to improve his position. Cain looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Duffy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #T4# Duffy is trying to stand.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cain passes to side control. Carwyn Cain dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. #R2# Duffy lands a nice shot that snaps Cain's head back.
Duffy throws a hook but Cain avoids it easily. Duffy has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. The crowd cheers as Duffy lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cain doesn't seem phased though. Duffy throws a body shot but no joy. Cain is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Duffy looks to score with a jab to the body but Cain is just out of range. Cain appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Duffy with a nice cross. Duffy misses the jab. Cain staying out of range there. Cain half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Cain avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Cain feinted with a counter takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cain has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cain there as he acknowledges the shot. Cain tries for a takedown but Duffy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Duffy throws a shot to the body.
Duffy lands with a nice body punch. Duffy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cain looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.#T1# Cain takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A punch combination from Duffy misses. Cain looks to score with a jab to the body but Duffy is just out of range. Duffy misses with a looping right. A punch lands to the side of Cain 's head but he takes it in his stride. Cain pulls out of a head kick attempt.
It seemed like Duffy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Cain shoots in for a takedown but Duffy shows good takedown defense. #TD# Cain dives in and scores a takedown into Duffy's guard.#ES2# Duffy is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cain trying to control the position but instead, Duffy has worked for underhooks and has pushed Cain into the cage. Cain keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Duffy's efforts to push away.#T2# Cain leaning against his opponent.

Duffy is trying to push Cain away but Cain has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Duffy has had enough of the clinch but Cain keeps him there for the moment. James Duffy seems to be getting the better of the standup. Nice defenses there by Cain. Jab, jab by Duffy - just one landing. Duffy looks to land a right hand but Cain moved out of range. Cain fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carwyn Cain. That's going to take a lot out of him. A telegraphed right hand from Duffy misses the target. A big left from Duffy misses. Duffy connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Cain gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Duffy throws a lazy right hand but Cain sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Duffy lands a nice looking body shot.

#TD# and Cain decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Duffy's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Duffy wants to sweep but no luck. Carwyn Cain overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Duffy wants to stand but Cain is controlling the position. Cain is looking to work some ground and pound but Duffy has wrist control. Cain in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Cain working some strikes from top position. Cain lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Cain lands a couple of decent looking shots. Cain postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.#ES2# Duffy is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Cain fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

James Duffy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Cain's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round! #R3# Cain takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Cain bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. James Duffy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duffy misses with a hook. Cain ducked under it nicely. Cain stands up over Duffy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Cain scoring with some ground and pound. Cain slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. #T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Duffy wants to get back to his feet but Cain is in a dominant position and won't allow it. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Duffy getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Some wild striking there from Duffy.
Cain feinted with a counter takedown. Cain fails to land the takedown. Cain with a poor takedown and Duffy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A lazy left from Duffy finds it's target. Cain moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Cain tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Duffy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! James Duffy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Duffy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1# Duffy cracks Quac with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Quac is looking to clinch. Duffy connects with a right hand. Quac shakes it off. Duffy lunges at Quac with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Quac's hand. Duffy sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Quac avoids a punch combination nicely.

Quac tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Duffy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Duffy bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Quac's head backwards. Quac moves away from the strike by Duffy. Quac throws a quick counter head kick but Duffy was just out of range. Duffy's coach down at Island Safe Space was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Duffy's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Quac misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

#R1# Duffy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Quac shoots and misses and Duffy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Duffy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Quac circles away. Quac feints the counter takedown. Nice sprawl there from Duffy as Quac shoots in. Duffy stuffs the takedown attempt from Quac. Quac gets slowly back to his feet. James Duffy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Taco Quac. Quac shoots in looking for a takedown but Duffy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Quac's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Duffy is looking to counter the offense by Quac and move into the clinch.#KD# Duffy drops Quac with a beautiful combination! Quac stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Duffy is looking for the KO!#ROC# Quac is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Quac throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Duffy's waist but Duffy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Quac off to one side. Duffy swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Quac counters with a head kick. That will keep Duffy thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! #KD# Duffy drops Quac with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Quac looks back up at him and smiles so Duffy waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Quac is still on wobbly legs! Can Duffy finish him? Duffy cracks Quac's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Quac slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Duffy can do further damage! This one is done, son!
