#R1# Crosby shoots for a takedown but Carsara saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A chopping leg kick lands by Carsara . Giorgio Carsara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crosby tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Carsara paws at him with a jab and circles away. Carsara looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Carsara swings for the body but Crosby moves out of range.
#CL2# Crosby closes the distance and clinches.#BC# Carsara breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. #TD2# Crosby feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.#SUB2# Crosby is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Carsara really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Crosby is pushing down on Carsara 's leg trying to pass to half guard. Carsara is fighting to maintain full guard but Crosby has managed to sneak the leg through. Carsara is breathing heavily.#SUB2# Crosby wants to work for an arm triangle but Carsara is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
#SUB2# Crosby seems to be working for a kimura but Carsara defends the submission attempt. Carsara on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Carsara tries to get out of the position.#SUB2# Crosby seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Carsara is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

#R1# Slayer moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Slayer blocks a head kick by Crosby .
#KD2# Slayer sends Crosby crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Slayer is motioning to the referee to let Crosby up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#ROC2# Crosby is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like John Crosby has been cut. I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Slayer has cracked Crosby with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Slayer lands another huge swinging hook and Crosby tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Crosby , before Slayer can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Chief Slayer! A relieved looking Chief Slayer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
