It looks like Sargent might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Diaz is trying to keep Sargent in close.
Sargent trying to move into half guard but instead Diaz has managed to sweep!#REVR# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sargent seems keen to control Diaz's posture. Diaz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. #T1# Sargent controlling Diaz's posture. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sargent looking to control but Diaz is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

#R1# Diaz moves in looking to clinch but Rumper pushes him off. Rumper moves out of range as Diaz throws a body kick.
Rumper clobbers Diaz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Rumper does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. An inside leg kick from Rumper misses. Rumper wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Diaz slips a jab from Rumper. Rumper fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Diaz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Rumper misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rumper misses with a low kick.
No luck for Diaz with that takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rumper throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Diaz on the side of the head. The fighters circle momentarily. Rumper darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Diaz goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Rumper lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Diaz circles away quickly and effectively.#T1# Diaz dives in for a single leg takedown but Rumper sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Diaz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rumper defends well and Diaz ends up having to push Rumper into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Rumper gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Todd Rumper is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Diaz falls to his knees and Rumper doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ahikaroa shoots in for a takedown but Diaz shows good takedown defense. Diaz swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.#CL# Ahikaroa tries to keep at a distance but Diaz has taken the fight into the clinch.#TD2# Ahikaroa has picked Diaz up - he's going for a ride! Ahikaroa dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Ahikaroa wants to take a breather but Diaz is having none of it. Ahikaroa throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Diaz gets full guard. Diaz keeping moving, preventing Ahikaroa from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ahikaroa wants to stand but Diaz has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Mikhailov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Diaz moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Diaz was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Mikhailov has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Diaz. No luck for Diaz with that takedown attempt. Diaz tries to clinch but Mikhailov moves out of range. Mikhailov shapes to counter with a head kick. Mikhailov throws a leg kick but Diaz sees it coming and moves out of range. Diaz wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. A combination from Mikhailov does no damage. Diaz comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mikhailov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Diaz pushes Sanna against the cage but Sanna circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Michael Sanna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Diaz steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Franco's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Franco just didn't come prepared.
