Sochek closes the distance and lands a one-two.#CUT2# It looks like Kevin Lee has been cut. Sochek misses with a combination

Sochek wants to get back to his feet but Lee drags him back down.#T1# Sochek seems a little lost for a moment, as Lee dominates the positioning. Lee's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Lee seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sochek for as long as he can get away with. Sochek is trying to buck Lee off. A lull in the action here as Lee stalls from top position.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Lee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Lee perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Nice strikes from Lee there. #T4# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lee is taking a breather. Sochek says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Lee trying to mount his opponent but Sochek defends it. Pennilla in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sochek is trying to escape the position but Pennilla is controlling the position. Pennilla wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sochek keeps working.
